The Story
This piece was created using ceramic, mesh, and spray paint — then something unexpected happened.
During the making of The Bee, a swarm passed overhead, leaving traces of real pollen across the surface. Rather than remove it, I chose to preserve it.
The pollen remains as a living imprint — a moment of collaboration between instinct, labour, and nature’s timing.
For me, The Bee is a tribute to unseen systems working together. To effort, patience, and harmony that can’t be forced — only allowed.
